The light novels were written by Eiichi Ikegami and illustrated by Ken'ichi Yoshida was released in a single bound volume on September 23rd, 2005 and later re-released into two volumes by Kadokawa on October 25th, 2008. There is also a manga adaptation drawn by Tasuku Karasuma and an anime television series, directed by Makoto Bessho. The anime is written by Hiroshi Ōnogi and features character designs by Range Murata. It premiered in Japan on April 6th, 2009.
