The manga adaptation is drawn by Tasuku Karasuma.
In a manga preview held by Kadokawa, it differs from the anime in such that it features a different design approach for the characters and also includes creature design for animals and humongous bugs, that live in or around Duomo.
As you can see below in the manga cover, Kuniko is portrayed differently from her anime counterpart. In fact, most of the characters that we're familiar with in the anime, like Momoko, Kunihito and Takehiko, have a much wilder and sharper design. They were also all featured from the beginning of the first volume.
